We collect the data needed to operate Frontrows, authenticate users, display profiles, process paid messages, enable payments and payouts, moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse, provide customer support, send transactional communications, and improve the service.
Some content that you submit, including paid messages and replies, may be analysed through automated AI moderation and, where necessary, limited manual review. Message and reply texts may be sent to third-party AI providers for moderation and safety purposes.
Payment processing is provided by PayPal. Frontrows does not store full card numbers or full payment card details. To receive payouts, users must provide and maintain a valid payout profile, including a payout method (PayPal or bank transfer), fiscal identity data and any other information required by Frontrows for billing and compliance.
We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary technologies are used to make the platform work. Analytics and marketing technologies, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel where enabled, are used only according to your consent preferences where consent is required.
We do not sell personal data as our core business. If advertising or marketing pixels are used, certain identifiers and event data may be shared with advertising partners only where permitted by law and according to your consent choices.
The types of personal data we collect depend on how you use Frontrows.
When you create an account or log in, we may process:
email address;
password credentials, stored in hashed form and managed through our authentication provider;
social login identifiers, if you use Google, Apple or another supported login provider;
email verification codes, one-time passwords or authentication tokens;
session tokens, refresh tokens and browser storage data needed to keep you logged in;
account status, login activity, security events and anti-abuse signals.
We do not store your password in plain text. Password and authentication infrastructure may be managed by Supabase or other authentication service providers.
If you create or edit a public or semi-public profile, we may process:
name and surname;
display name or artist name;
biography, "about" sections and other profile texts;
avatar, cover image and gallery images;
alternative text for accessibility;
SEO title and SEO description;
social links, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, Facebook or other supported links;
optional phone number, if provided;
profile visibility status, certification status, layout preferences and profile settings.
Some profile data may be publicly visible. You are responsible for the information you choose to publish on your profile. You should not publish personal data of third parties unless you have a lawful basis and all required permissions.
Frontrows may process content that you create, upload, send, receive or publish through the platform. This may include text, images, links, profile information, messages, replies and other content you voluntarily provide.
You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit is lawful, accurate and does not infringe the rights of third parties. You must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, misleading, adult/erotic, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, fraudulent, spammy, infringing, or otherwise prohibited by our Terms and Conditions.
When you send or receive a paid message, we may process:
the text of the message sent by the sender;
the text of the reply sent by the recipient;
sender and recipient identifiers;
message status, such as draft, payment pending, paid, delivered, read, reply pending, completed, declined or expired;
timestamps, including creation, delivery, read, reply, completion, expiry or outcome timestamps;

PayPal identifiers connected to the payment, such as PayPal order ID, capture ID, payer email (from PayPal), financial status, coupon or platform credit identifiers;
moderation status, reason codes, AI moderation results and safety flags;
deadline information, including the time available for the recipient to reply.
Paid messages and replies are not public by default. However, they are processed by Frontrows and our service providers for delivery, moderation, security, payment, refund, support, abuse prevention and legal purposes.
When payments are made through Frontrows, we may process:
amount, currency and transaction status;
PayPal order ID and PayPal capture ID;
payment authorisation and capture status;
platform credit status, coupon code applied and credit amount used;
refund, cancellation or dispute status;

platform fee, recipient net amount and payment allocation data;
limited payment-related metadata needed for accounting, audit, compliance and dispute handling.
Full card numbers and full payment card details are processed by PayPal and are not stored directly by Frontrows. PayPal may act as an independent controller for payment authorisation, fraud prevention, Buyer Protection, compliance, dispute resolution and regulatory activities. You can read PayPal's privacy information at paypal.com/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full.
To use the checkout or to receive payouts, Frontrows may collect and store fiscal identity and billing data, including:
customer type: private individual or business/company;
first name and last name;
company name (if business);
VAT number or P.IVA (if business);
tax ID or fiscal code (codice fiscale or equivalent);
billing country (ISO 2-letter country code);
phone number in E.164 format, if provided at checkout;
PayPal payer email address, as returned by PayPal at checkout;
PayPal payer ID, stored in our payment provider accounts table.
This data is collected from both senders (at checkout, for fiscal and payment processing purposes) and receivers (in the payout profile, for fiscal compliance, identity verification and payout eligibility). Fiscal identity data is stored on our servers and used for billing, compliance, accounting and tax reporting purposes.
Fiscal identity data may also be temporarily stored as a draft in your browser's localStorage (under keys prefixed with pg:billing:fiscal: andpg:billing:payout:) to preserve partially completed forms between sessions. This draft data is deleted from localStorage after successful save.
If you receive payments or payouts through Frontrows, you must complete and maintain a valid payout profile. Frontrows collects and stores the following payout data:
payout method: PayPal or bank transfer;
PayPal payout email address (if PayPal method selected);
IBAN (if bank transfer method selected);
BIC/SWIFT code (if bank transfer method selected);
account holder name (if bank transfer method selected);
country of fiscal residence for payout purposes;
payout KYC status: one of not_started, pending,verified or suspended, set by Frontrows after manual review.
Frontrows may perform a manual review (KYC) of your payout settings before activating or continuing payouts. This review is performed internally by Frontrows staff and does not involve a third-party KYC provider. The review may consider payout method validity, fiscal identity completeness, account consistency and fraud prevention signals.
Payout profile data is stored on our servers and processed for the purpose of calculating, scheduling and executing monthly payouts. Payout data may also be temporarily stored as a draft in your browser's localStorage (under keypg:billing:payout:) to preserve partially completed forms between sessions.
Frontrows uses automated moderation and may use limited manual review to help detect, prevent and respond to prohibited content, abuse, fraud, manipulation, off-platform payment attempts and other safety risks.
When you send a message or submit a reply, the text may be analysed by AI moderation systems. The moderation process may generate:
moderation result, such as approved, rejected or manual review;
risk flags and reason codes;
model name and moderation attempt number;
token counts and technical API information;
estimated moderation cost for internal accounting;
timestamps and audit logs connected to the moderation decision.
The categories checked by moderation may include sexual content, sexual content involving minors, harassment, threats, hate, violence, graphic violence, illegal activity, self-harm, spam, off-platform contact, suspicious payment requests, money-laundering risk, manipulation, privacy risk and borderline policy risk.
Message and reply texts may be sent to OpenAI or other AI providers for moderation and classification. According to OpenAI's published API data controls, data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models unless the customer explicitly opts in. You can read OpenAI's API data controls at https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/your-data and OpenAI's enterprise privacy information at https://openai.com/enterprise-privacy/.
AI moderation is not perfect. It may fail to detect some harmful content or may incorrectly flag content that is lawful or acceptable. We may use manual review where appropriate, for example for safety, abuse prevention, technical troubleshooting, legal compliance, disputes, reports or platform integrity.
If you contact us for support, privacy requests, refunds, abuse reports or complaints, we may process:
your name, email address and account identifier;
the content of your request;
screenshots, URLs, usernames, message identifiers or other information you choose to provide;
our replies and internal notes;
information needed to investigate the request, including related messages, transactions, moderation logs or account activity where necessary.
Please do not send unnecessary sensitive personal data, payment card details, identification documents or personal data of third parties when contacting us unless specifically required for your request.
We may send transactional emails related to your account and use of the service, including verification emails, message notifications, delivery notices, reply reminders, refund notices, expiry notices, security notifications and support communications.
Transactional emails may be sent through Brevo or another email service provider. These communications are necessary for the operation of the platform and are not marketing newsletters. You can read Brevo's Privacy Policy at https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/.
When you access Frontrows, we and our service providers may process technical data, including:
IP address;
browser type and version;
device type, operating system and language settings;
pages visited and basic usage events;
date, time and duration of access;
request logs, error logs and security logs;
approximate location inferred from IP address;
anti-abuse, rate limiting and fraud prevention signals.
This information is used to operate the website, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, debug technical issues, monitor platform performance and comply with legal obligations.
We use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, tags and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the platform to work, for example authentication sessions, security, language preferences and checkout flow. Others, such as analytics and marketing technologies, are used only where permitted by law and according to your consent preferences.
For example, Supabase authentication may store session tokens in browser storage. i18next or similar language tools may store your language preference. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel may be used only after consent where consent is required.
More information is available in our Cookie Policy.
Frontrows is not designed to collect unnecessary sensitive personal data. You must not send, publish or upload data that is not needed for the use of the platform.
In particular, you should not submit:
health data, medical information or mental health information;
sexual life or sexual orientation data;
religious, philosophical or political opinions;
trade union membership information;
genetic, biometric or identity document data;
financial account credentials, full card numbers, passwords or security codes;
personal data of minors;
personal data of third parties unless you have a lawful basis and all required permissions.
If you submit such information, we may process it only to the extent necessary to provide the service, moderate content, prevent abuse, comply with law, protect rights, handle disputes or delete or restrict the content. We may reject, remove or restrict content that includes unnecessary sensitive data or personal data of third parties.
We use personal data for the following purposes:

to display and manage public or semi-public profiles;
to allow users to send and receive paid messages and replies;
to process payments, authorisations, captures, cancellations, refunds and payouts;
to process, verify and manage payout profiles, payout KYC status and payout eligibility;
to store and verify fiscal identity data for billing, accounting and tax compliance;
to moderate messages, replies and platform activity;
to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, prohibited conduct, suspicious payments and security incidents;
to send transactional emails and service notifications;
to provide customer support and respond to requests;
to manage platform credits, coupon issuance, credit balance and credit ledger entries;
to handle reports, disputes, PayPal Buyer Protection claims, platform credit requests and complaints;
to comply with legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, law enforcement or court obligations;
to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
to improve the performance, reliability, security and usability of the platform;
to measure analytics and advertising performance where consent has been given;
to communicate changes to our services, policies or security practices.
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on one or more legal bases depending on the purpose of processing.
We process personal data where it is necessary to perform a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. This includes account creation, login, profile management, message delivery, paid messages, replies, payment processing, refunds, support and service communications.
We process personal data where we have a legitimate interest, provided that your rights and freedoms do not override that interest. This includes platform security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, service improvement, troubleshooting, enforcement of our Terms, protection of users, dispute handling and protection of legal rights.
We process personal data where consent is required and has been given. This may include non-essential analytics cookies, marketing pixels, optional marketing communications and certain optional features. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
We process personal data where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, anti-fraud, regulatory, consumer protection, law enforcement, sanctions, payment, corporate record-keeping or court obligations.
We may process personal data where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, including chargebacks, disputes, complaints, investigations, enforcement actions and protection against misuse of the platform.
Where special categories of personal data are processed because you voluntarily included them in a message, report or support request, we will process them only where permitted by applicable law, for example where you gave explicit consent, where processing is necessary for legal claims, where processing is necessary to protect vital interests, or where processing is necessary to remove, restrict or moderate prohibited content.
If you create a public profile, some information may be visible to other users, visitors, search engines and third-party websites. This may include your display name, name, biography, profile photo, cover image, gallery images, social links, SEO metadata, public page URL and other information you choose to make public.
You should not include information in your public profile that you do not want to be publicly accessible. Search engines and third-party services may index or cache public pages. Removing information from Frontrows may not immediately remove copies from search engines or third-party services.
Frontrows may restrict, hide, remove or disable public profile content that violates our Terms, creates legal or safety risk, infringes rights, contains prohibited links, or is otherwise harmful to users or the platform.
Paid messages are subject to moderation before being delivered to the recipient. If a message is rejected by moderation before delivery, the related payment authorisation may be cancelled and the sender may not be charged.
If a message is approved and delivered, the recipient may have a defined period to reply. If the recipient declines or does not reply within the applicable deadline, refund rules may apply as described in our Refund Policy.
Moderation data and transaction status data may be stored for audit, safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling and legal compliance purposes.
Frontrows may use automated systems, including AI moderation, to detect and prevent prohibited content and conduct. Automated systems may affect whether a message is delivered, rejected, delayed or escalated for review.
Automated moderation may check for sexual content, minor safety risks, harassment, threats, hate, violence, illegal conduct, self-harm, spam, off-platform contact attempts, suspicious payment behaviour, money laundering risk, manipulation, privacy risk and other policy risks.
Where appropriate, we may perform manual review. Manual review may be used for abuse reports, safety concerns, technical issues, legal requests, disputes, suspected fraud, suspicious transactions, moderation errors or platform integrity.
If you believe that content has been incorrectly moderated, or if you want to report abusive or unlawful content, you may contact us at [email protected]. We may review reports in accordance with our Terms, our internal policies and applicable law.
We may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel. These tools may collect or receive information such as page views, device information, browser information, interaction events, approximate location, identifiers, cookie data and advertising-related signals.
Where required by law, analytics and advertising technologies are used only after you provide consent through our cookie banner or consent management mechanism. You may reject non-essential cookies and you may change your preferences later.
Google requires website operators using Google Analytics to disclose the use of Google Analytics and how data is collected and processed. We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Our general retention approach is as follows:
Account data is generally retained for as long as the account remains active.
If an account is deleted, personal data is generally deleted or anonymised within 30 days, unless retention is necessary for legal, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, security, dispute, chargeback or legitimate business purposes.
Profile media, avatar, cover image and gallery images are generally retained until removed by the user or until account/profile deletion, unless retention is necessary for legal, safety, abuse or dispute purposes.
Paid messages and replies are generally retained for up to 24 months for service operation, user access, support, dispute handling, abuse prevention, audit and legal purposes.
Moderation logs are generally retained for up to 24 months for safety, audit, moderation accountability, dispute handling, abuse prevention and legal purposes.
Transactional email records are generally retained for up to 24 months, unless longer retention is required for legal, accounting, dispute or security purposes.
Fiscal identity and payout data, including tax ID, VAT number, IBAN, BIC, billing country and account holder name, may be retained for up to 10 years after the last transaction to comply with accounting, tax reporting, fiscal compliance and legal obligations.
Payment, refund, payout, invoice, accounting and audit records may be retained for up to 10 years or for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, corporate, payment or regulatory laws.
Technical, security and access logs are generally retained for 6 to 12 months, unless longer retention is necessary to investigate security incidents, fraud, abuse, legal claims or platform integrity issues.
Cookie consent records may be retained for as long as necessary to demonstrate consent and manage user preferences.
Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion until they are overwritten or deleted according to our backup cycles. During that period, backup data is generally not used for ordinary business purposes unless restoration is necessary.
You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

These measures may include authentication controls, access restrictions, encryption in transit, secure infrastructure providers, logging, monitoring, role-based access and internal policies.

Transactional emails that are necessary for the service, such as account, security, payment, refund, moderation or message notifications, may still be sent even if you opt out of marketing communications.
Frontrows is not intended for children under 13 years of age. Users must have the minimum age required by applicable law to use online services and to validly accept our Terms, or must use the platform with the consent and under the responsibility of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
Users who wish to receive payments or payouts must complete and maintain a valid Frontrows payout profile, including fiscal identity data and a valid payout method. Frontrows may perform a manual KYC review of payout settings before releasing payouts.
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child below the applicable minimum age without valid consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or restrict that data in accordance with applicable law.
Users must not send, upload or publish content involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, abusive, harmful, illegal or unsafe manner. Such content is strictly prohibited and may be reported to competent authorities where required by law.
Frontrows may contain links to third-party websites, profiles, social networks, music platforms, payment pages or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Profile links are not necessarily endorsed, verified or controlled by Frontrows. Users access external links at their own risk.
We may disclose personal data where we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable law, legal process, court order, regulatory request, payment network rules, law enforcement request, sanctions obligations, fraud investigation, safety risk or other legal obligation.
We may also disclose personal data where necessary to enforce our Terms, protect our rights, protect users or third parties, prevent harm, investigate abuse, detect fraud or defend against legal claims.
If Frontrows is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, sale of assets, transfer of business, insolvency or similar corporate transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
If such a change materially affects how your personal data is processed, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.
We may create aggregated, statistical or anonymised information that does not identify you. We may use such information for analytics, reporting, product improvement, security, research, business planning or public communications.
Where data has been irreversibly anonymised so that it can no longer identify an individual, it may no longer be considered personal data under applicable privacy laws.
At the date of this Privacy Policy, Frontrows has not appointed a formal Data Protection Officer. You can contact us for privacy matters at [email protected].

Until a local representative is appointed, EU and EEA users may contact us directly at [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, legal requirements, technologies, providers or data practices.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice, for example through the platform, by email or by requiring renewed acceptance where appropriate.
Your continued use of Frontrows after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
